Friday, November 16, 2007I have woefully neglected this blog–and all the visitors over the past few months–and I am sorry for not making good on my promise to provide people with good cupcakes. I have begun contacting everybody who has inquired over the last 3-4 months in order to apologize to you, but please bear with me, it might take a few days to send everyone an email.
Because of time constraints, and some urgent things I have to attend to with my career and education, I have to temporarily stop accepting orders until the end of the year. In the meantime, I'm working out arrangements and systems that will enable me to accept everyone's orders efficiently and on time, and I hope to get everything in place so I can begin accepting orders again by January 2008. I can only hope that you will still be interested in trying my cupcakes, and I'm determined to make good on my promise.
I feel bad because not only have I neglected something that I am passionate about (baking), but because I've caused a lot of hassle for many of you–especially those who wanted to order for special occasions. I can't even begin to imagine what kind of trouble I may have caused for you, and again, I am very sorry.
Lastly, by January I may also have to increase prices–hopefully not by much. The cost of flour and other ingredients like butter have gone up recently, and I have to make adjustments because of this.
I really can't wait to bake again, and I hope you will all still be here when I return.
